Bouquet Preservation Terms and Conditions

By booking with us you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions stated below.

Flower Preservation

As all flowers must be 100% dry before being placed into resin or frames, your flowers can change size, shape and colour during the drying process.

We do not offer colour correction services. Not all flowers dry well. We will always endeavour to utilise the best flowers for your pieces, and some flowers will not survive the drying process (particularly Chrysanthemums, orchids, tulips, lillies and daisies).

We do not take any responsibility for how your flowers may appear after being dyed or treated by your florist. If you have sent your flowers to us via Express Post, followed the shipping instructions properly and your flowers arrive damaged, we will work with you to provide a “bouquet reconstruction” at an extra cost.

If you have not followed the shipping instructions, we will return your flowers and issue a full refund minus our shipping costs.

The artist has full discretion to decide what flowers will, and won’t be included in pieces based on their suitability (eg. full roses will not be used for coasters as they are too large, but other flowers may be a better fit).

Flower drying staff will only dry the amount of flowers required for the pieces you have purchased, and we do not have the capacity to store or send back your leftover flowers once your order is finished.

The bouquet drying fee covers the drying materials for one bridal bouquet- If you send extra bouquets or arrangements and have not paid for a secondary drying fee, please do not expect all flowers to be dried and used.

We preserve bouquets in the condition they arrive to our workshop- we will discard mouldy flowers, but the rest will be dried and encapsulated as they are. Please follow the instructions provided in our emails and social media highlights to ensure your flowers look their best.

Design

When it is time to begin your order, we will be in touch to discuss your vision for your main piece (resin block). Whilst we will seek to understand what design style you are interested in, we do not always create or photograph designs for your approval, as every time the flowers are touched they are damaged and we aim to minimise this damage as it can be evident in the final piece.

By booking with us, you agree to leave final artistic decisions up to our artists. We create your pieces based on the flowers we are given, and some shapes and styles are better suited to certain flowers than others.

“Imperfections”

Everything we create is handmade by humans. We do not mass produce our products, or use machines to create them. While we take the utmost care in making your pieces, the nature of resin art is very unpredictable. It is not unreasonable to expect to see layer lines (where each layer of resin has been poured), air bubbles, loose particles, slightly uneven edges, petal transparency and changed flower colour in your pieces (although we try to minimise most of these to the best of our ability)

Turnaround time

Due to the unpredictable nature of resin art, we cannot guarantee when your order will be finished. At a minimum, you can expect your order to take a minimum of 6-8 months depending on the size, quanitity and complexity of your pieces. We will always update you when your order reaches the next stage of development.

If you would like an update on your order, you are more than welcome to email us any time after 12 weeks (this is the amount of time it takes us to dry your flowers, design and begin casting your order). Be sure to follow us on Instagram, as this is where we post all our updates!

We don’t share pictures/videos every order to our social media platforms as there simply isn’t enough time (or phone storage) to do so. We generally do not take or share photos during the process as the resin needs to stay undisturbed during curing time.

Refunds/Returns

By booking our services, you are purchasing a custom art experience. If your pieces arrive damaged, have a structural integrity issue, or are not fit for purpose (eg. smashed, bent or missing pieces) you are entitled to a remedy or refund. We will endeavour to fix the piece if we can.

Refunds will not be given for change of mind, or design choices. The artist has full discretion over design choices based on the flowers we receive, in the condition we receive them (not how they looked in your professional wedding photos)
