Hey! We’re Tamsyn and Valdis, the husband and wife team who run Wild Clover Collective and Floral Art Academy. We are based in Logan, QLD Australia and have been working with resin since 2020, and have preserved over 250 bridal bouquets from all over the east coast of Australia since 2022.
The Brains
As a Doctor of Quantum Physics, Valdis is used to working in laboratory-like conditions. His measurements are precise, and he never has to do a top coat twice. He brings his scientific knowledge and problem solving skills to the studio, ensuring all chemical work is done exactly right.
The Beauty
Tamsyn is a former school teacher and bit of a free spirit (read: ADHD) and fell in love with resin art during the almighty “find a hobby quick” pandemic time of 2020. Very quickly she realised people actually liked the things she was making and began Wild Clover Collective mid-year, selling realistic ocean style art pieces, and gravitated towards learning about floral preservation in 2021.
The Academy
For the past three years, we have dedicated our lives to learning everything we can about resin and flowers, and in 2023 Floral Art Academy was born- we have helped artists beginner and beyond to level up their floral preservation businesses through our monthly podcast, blog posts, Tiktok videos and 1:1 coaching calls.
