Sunshine Seekers Nature Immersion Playgroup

Crafted by a fully qualified teacher and toddler mum, our mixed-age playgroup sessions run for 1.5hrs and are filled with water play, arts & crafts, imaginary adventures, STEM discoveries, and building with treasures from the earth. It’s all about letting curiosity guide the way in a laid-back, natural setting.

Mount Cotton Mondays

Our Mount Cotton location is perfect for walkers and families who keen to explore. Join us at “home base” next to the duck pond for a story and some songs, before embarking on a short nature walk & talk to our final destination. While walking we’ve spotted pelicans, water dragons, butterflies, cockatoos and baby butcher birds- I wonder what you might find? You can also forage for interesting leaves, sticks and flowers on the way and use these in our playdough and craft stations when we get to our final play area (When conditions are appropriate we will do water play in the creek so bring your water shoes!).

Thompson’s Beach Tuesdays

If a relaxed beach vibe is more your speed, Thompson’s Beach ticks all the boxes. Our play space is a beautiful, cool spot under huge sprawling trees that provide plenty of shade for little bubs and big kids alike. While we don’t utilise a nature walk for this location, we often take our mud kitchen tools and utensils for beach play! 🌊 You can expect to find play stations that include playdough, craft, taste-safe sensory trays, wooden cognitive toys and our timber mud kitchen.
